Our Year 6 Ingredients:
91% Children (some girls and some boys. Latest things that they enjoy include: reading, playing with hoops, football, athletics, writing, watching England play in cricket, rugby and football, winning team points, doing their best in whatever life throws at them!)
3% Miss. Edwards (Classteacher, Acting Assistant Head)
3% Miss. Walsh (Teaches Y2 earlier in the week and Y6 on a Friday and ensures the children have a hard working start to the weekend. She has been at St. Joseph's since September)
3% Mrs. Condliffe (Helps everyone in the class, as well as the teachers, to cope with the demands of a school day. She works with small groups and individuals to make sure everyone understands the things that need understanding, if you understand what we mean!)
Year 6 Highlights & Dates Include...
Class Masses - 12th October 2011, 2nd February 2012 and 26th April 2012
Y6 Assemblies - 9th December 2011, 16th March 2012 and 1st June 2012
Otley Science Fayre - 19th November 2011
Our Residential at Robinwood (5th - 7th March 2012)
SATs week - beginning 14th May 2012
Retreat Days at Leeds Trinity & All Saints' (with our fellow Year 6 friends from our family of schools) - 2nd July 2012
Trips up to St. Mary's to get to to know it even better - 3rd July 2012 am for the children; 5th July at 7pm for the children and parents.
Y6 Leavers' Production (we're still deciding which musical we'll choose...) - 17th July 2012
Y6 Leavers' Mass - 18th July 2012 at 7pm
Y6 Leavers' Party - 19th July 2012...and much, much more!
