Year Three visited Armley Mills, Leeds in June to take a step back in time to the 1940's.  They changed clothes and names to experience what life would be like for a child in 1940.  They experienced a 1940's lesson where they learnt about the importance of growing vegetables during the war, practised putting on gas masks, experienced an air raid siren, and visited an ARP Wardens house where they did some plane spotting and went to a 1940's cinema.

BASKETBALL TRAINING IN YEAR 3

Year Three are presently receiving basketball coaching each week on a Monday from a coach from South Leeds Stadium.  so far they've learnt to dribble, pass and defend.  There will be a Festival at St. Mary's Menston on 15th February 4-5:30pm.
